In the year 1991, a group of dedicated and eminent educationalists of India, came together to establish the Vignan Educational Foundation at Bangalore. Their commitment objective was to provide high standards of medical, technological and related education. The foundation work in a spirit of partnership with many foreign countries, organizations and communities for effective development, delivery and management for education and health services. The Chairman of the Trust, KATURI SUBBA RAO is an educationalist and it was his vision to start dental and medical colleges along with the all necessary infrastructure within the India and in abroad. It was with this dream that he instituted the Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences under the Vignan Educational Trust with a 120 bedded hospital by name Vignan Hospital at 22, Hosur Road with sophisticated equipment and departments in all specialities.
